PT Green Energi Utama (GEU) is one of Indonesia’s fastest-growing and most progressive companies in the waste-based feedstock industry, focusing on Used Cooking oil (UCO) as key raw materials for renewable fuels such as SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) and HVO.

To support this transformation, GEU is seeking a senior executive with strong capabilities in strategy, corporate finance, and investment execution to join the leadership team.

Position: Vice President – Strategic, Finance & Investment

(Overseeing Finance, Accounting, Tax, Debt Restructuring, Fundraising & Investor Due Diligence)

The VP Strategic, Finance & Investment will act as a key strategic partner to the CEO and will lead GEU’s overall corporate strategy, financial management, investment planning, and capital structure optimization. This role oversees the Finance, Accounting, and Tax departments and plays a critical leadership function in managing debt restructuring, fundraising, investor relations, and large-scale project evaluations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

• Lead the formulation and execution of GEU’s short-, mid-, and long-term corporate strategy.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors on growth opportunities, financial risks, and business expansion.
• Drive corporate roadmap initiatives including supply chain expansion, PTU development, and SAF/HVO refinery planning.

2. Finance, Accounting & Tax Oversight

• Oversee and manage the Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, financial controls, and performance monitoring across all business units.
• Optimize the company’s capital structure and working capital cycle.

3. Debt Restructuring & Capital Structure Management

• Lead the debt restructuring team, managing negotiations with banks, multifinance institutions, and creditors to achieve the most optimal financial structure.
• Develop and implement refinancing strategies, interest-cost optimization, and long-term capital planning.
• Strengthen financial risk management frameworks.

4. Fundraising & Investment Execution

• Lead GEU’s fundraising activities, including bank financing, private investors, strategic partnerships, and equity-linked instruments.
• Act as the primary representative in discussions, pitches, and negotiations with local and international investors.
• Prepare investment materials, financial models, information memorandums, and presentations.

5. Investor Due Diligence Leadership

• Coordinate and lead the entire investor due diligence process, including financial, legal, tax, technical, and commercial workstreams.
• Serve as the main liaison between GEU and external advisors (financial, legal, and technical consultants).
• Ensure data rooms, documentation, and internal processes are complete, audit-ready, and professionally managed.

6. Investment & Project Evaluation

• Develop financial models, valuations, and feasibility studies for major strategic projects, including PTU facilities, SAF/HVO refinery development, and potential M&A transactions.
• Evaluate project viability, risk profiles, and investment returns to support decision-making at the executive level.

7. Leadership & Organizational Development

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance team across finance and investment functions.
• Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and strong financial discipline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in Corporate Finance, Strategic Planning, Investment, or Debt Restructuring.
• Demonstrated experience leading Finance, Accounting, and Tax departments.
• Solid track record handling debt restructuring, fundraising, and investor due diligence.
• Advanced financial modelling, business valuation, and project financing capabilities.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in energy, manufacturing, logistics, sustainability, or waste-recycling industries is a strong advantage.
