Role Description

This is a part-time hybrid role for a Special Education Specialist based in Bandung, Indonesia, with some flexibility for remote work. The specialist will design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs. Responsibilities include utilizing applied behavior analysis techniques, developing and delivering instructional materials tailored to diverse abilities, supporting children in achieving educational goals, and providing guidance to families and caregivers on effective strategies.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis and a strong understanding of Special Education practices
• Exceptional Communication skills with the ability to convey ideas effectively to children, families, and colleagues
• Experience in Education and working directly with children
• Knowledge of child development theories and techniques
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability in diverse learning environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent certification/experience)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
• Familiarity with technology-based educational tools is a plus
