Overview

CKU is seeking a seasoned Senior Tax Manager with a strong foundation in public accounting and tax consultancy. This role is designed for a professional who combines technical mastery of Indonesian tax laws with the ability to provide strategic, simplified advice to high-level clients. We are looking for an expert who is tech-savvy, highly analytical, and ready to lead in the new era of Coretax .

Detailed Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following specific criteria:

• Educational Background: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting or a strictly related financial major.
• Audit & Consultancy Experience: Proven track record of at least 3 years of experience working within a KAP (Public Accounting Firm) or a specialized Tax Consultancy firm.
• Professional Certification: Must hold a valid Brevet A & B Certificate (Brevet C is a significant advantage).
• Coretax Proficiency: Deep familiarity and hands-on experience with Coretax (the current national tax application system).
• Regulatory Knowledge: Must stay consistently updated on all prevailing Indonesian Tax Laws and Regulations .
• Digital Accounting Mastery: Proficient in using various cloud-based accounting software, including but not limited to Jurnal, Accurate, Zahir, Xero, and Odoo .
• Data Analytics: Advanced mastery of MS Excel and Google Sheets for complex tax modeling, data reconciliation, and reporting.
• Client Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the specific ability to simplify complex tax opinions into easy-to-understand explanations for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Advisory: Deliver professional tax opinions and consultancy services, ensuring clients understand the implications of regulations on their business operations.
• Compliance Governance: Manage the end-to-end tax lifecycle (Monthly/Annual filings) ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance with the latest regulations.
• System Implementation: Lead the integration of tax reporting within the company’s or client’s digital accounting ecosystem (Odoo, Xero, etc.).
• Coretax Management: Act as the primary lead for all submissions and interactions within the Coretax environment.
• Financial Reporting: Perform detailed tax calculations and financial analysis using advanced spreadsheet functions to support audit readiness.
• Client Liaison: Build trust with clients by providing proactive tax planning and clear, jargon-free communication.
