Business Development Specialist (Bali Restaurant Partnerships)

Masaya Trip is a rapidly growing travel and lifestyle services platform dedicated to providing global travelers with high-quality Southeast Asian travel experiences. Currently, we are aggressively expanding our local Bali restaurant and lifestyle services offerings. We urgently need a passionate and highly effective Business Development Specialist (BD) to join our team to identify and sign contracts with Bali's best restaurants, beach clubs, and cafes, making them official premium suppliers on our platform.
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Market Discovery: Proactively search, research, and select high-potential, high-quality restaurants and food service businesses throughout Bali.
- Business Negotiation: Conduct face-to-face visits with restaurant owners or management to clearly demonstrate the value and advantages of the Masaya Trip platform and negotiate in-depth terms of cooperation (such as commission rates, exclusive discounts, or exclusive packages).
- Merchant Onboarding: Facilitate the smooth signing of cooperation agreements and assist merchants in completing basic information uploads to Masaya Trip website
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain frequent and effective communication with signed partner merchants to secure more exclusive promotional resources and promptly resolve any operational issues that arise during the cooperation process.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in B2B sales, on-the-ground promotion, or business development. Preference will be given to candidates with OTA (Online Travel Agency), food delivery platform (such as GrabFood, GoFood), or hotel and catering industry background.
- Language Proficiency: Must Fluent in Indonesian and English for business negotiations. (Fluent Mandarin is a significant advantage.)
- Local Resources: Long-term resident of Bali with in-depth understanding of the local food and beverage ecosystem. Having connections with local restaurant owners or management will greatly help your work.
- Personal Qualities: Strong goal orientation, strong stress resistance, and adaptable to intensive cold calling work. Must have your own motorcycle in good condition and a valid driver's license.
Salary and Benefits: We firmly believe that high rewards attract capable individuals. For high-performing candidates, we offer a highly competitive salary structure:
- Base Salary (No Performance Bonus): IDR 4,500,000 – 7,500,000 per month (determined based on past experience and interview performance).
- Operating Allowance: IDR 500,000 – 1,000,000 per month (covering fuel and communication/internet costs).
High Commissions (Uncapped):
- Receive a fixed cash signing bonus for each successful restaurant listing.
- Receive tiered additional bonuses for signing high-end restaurants (Fine Dining) or well-known trending restaurants. Excellent Business Development (BD) specialists can easily earn 10,000,000 - 15,000,000 Indonesian Rupiah (OTE) or even higher per month.
Career Development: As the Bali business team expands, top performers can be directly promoted to BD Manager.
