About the role

We are seeking a Tenaga Teknis Kefarmasian (Pharmaceutical Technician) to join our pharmacy team in Gresik, East Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting pharmaceutical operations and ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medicines to patients. As a pharmaceutical technician, you will work under the supervision of qualified pharmacists to maintain the highest standards of pharmaceutical practice and patient care. This role is essential to the smooth functioning of our pharmacy services and directly contributes to our commitment to healthcare excellence in the community.

What you'll be doing

Assisting pharmacists in the preparation, compounding, and dispensing of medicines and pharmaceutical products

Receiving, storing, and managing pharmaceutical inventory whilst maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with storage requirements

Verifying and labelling medications according to prescriptions and pharmaceutical guidelines

Maintaining a clean and sterile pharmacy environment, including workspaces, equipment, and storage areas

Supporting the organisation and management of the pharmacy stock, including ordering and stock rotation procedures

Assisting with the preparation of medications for patient dispensing, including measuring, counting, and packaging

Maintaining detailed pharmaceutical records and documentation as required by regulatory standards

Supporting pharmacy staff in administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and patient record management

Adhering to all pharmaceutical regulations, health and safety standards, and quality control procedures

Assisting in educating patients on proper medication usage when directed by the supervising pharmacist

What we're looking for

Diploma or certification in pharmaceutical science or pharmaceutical technology from a recognised educational institution

Valid registration as a Tenaga Teknis Kefarmasian with the relevant professional regulatory body in Indonesia

Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, dosages, and storage requirements

Proficiency in pharmaceutical calculations and measurements

Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and ability to work with computer-based pharmaceutical records

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling medications and maintaining records

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and patients

Understanding of and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to pharmaceutical ethics and regulations

Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual handling of pharmaceutical materials safely

Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is highly desirable
