SITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER (SRE) – SRE

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain the availability, reliability, and performance of production systems through continuous monitoring and improvement.

· Build and develop automation for deployment, provisioning, scaling, recovery, and other operational tasks.

· Manage monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and dashboards to improve service observability.

· Respond to incidents, conduct troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and postmortems to prevent recurrence.

· Collaborate with the development team to improve release quality, deployment processes, and system resilience.

· Support capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure scalability planning.

· Establish and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to balance delivery speed with reliability.

· Improve production security posture with security and engineering teams.

Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Systems Engineering.

· Understanding of Linux, networking, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.

· Experience with containers and orchestration, especially Kubernetes.

· Proficient in Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or similar tools.

· Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, rollbacks, and release management.

· Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, or similar.

· Proficient in scripting or programming in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.

· Experience leading high-severity incidents.

· Experience setting SLIs/SLOs.

· Experience serving as a technical mentor.
