About the role

As an HSE Specialist at PT. Elecmetal Longteng Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees and operations. This full-time position is based in Batang, Central Java, and is responsible for implementing and maintaining comprehensive safety protocols and procedures to protect our workforce.

What you'll be doing

• Support, leading and coordinating the Project HSE PT. Elecmetal Longteng Indonesia.
• Assist in ensuring that the implementation of HSE in the project complies with the company’s internal regulations, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Assist in performing risk identification and determining hazard control measures.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of Project HSE activities at site level.
• Conduct regular inspections, observations, and audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Assist in preparing and reporting HSE implementation results, including HSE Performance reports.
• Collect, process, and update HSE Statistical Data, HSE Performance, and HSE Work Programs/Activities.
• Provide analysis and recommendations based on HSE data and findings.
• Review documentation (procedures, job hazard analysis, permits) to ensure safe working conditions and support audit processes for construction, commissioning, maintenance, and operations.
• Collaborate with construction and commissioning teams to maintain safe working environments during installation, testing, and operation systems.
• Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks, and in monitoring the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Support the management of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and follow up on their resolutions.
• Participate in the change management process by providing clarification and technical input as needed.
• Promote awareness and a strong culture of safety, security, and compliance across all project activities.

What we're looking for

• Minimum Diploma 3 in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Safety, or other related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HSE, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role, preferably in a Manufacturing or Heat Treatment environment.
• Good understanding of CSMS (Contractor Safety Management System), UU No.1 Th.1970, and other K3-related regulations (especially Electrical).
• Proficient in English and Microsoft Office
• Possess safety-related certifications (AK3 Umum and/or K3 Listrik) from the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Risk Management, Fire Safety, Lifting & Rigging, and Emergency & Evacuation Preparedness.
• Certification in Fire Safety, Lifting & Rigging, or Working at Height is an advantage.
• Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to support schedule control and ensure timely HSE compliance.
