Role Description The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, responsible for overseeing daily operations and driving organizational performance. The COO will translate the firm’s strategic vision into operational plans, aligning project delivery, resource allocation, and workflows with business goals. Core responsibilities include managing operational processes, coordinating with project and design teams, monitoring budgets and timelines, and implementing performance metrics across functions. The role will partner closely with senior leadership on business planning, financial oversight, risk management, and growth initiatives, while ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and client service. The COO will also lead and develop operations staff, promote a collaborative and inclusive culture, and continuously improve systems, tools, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Strong business leadership capabilities, including Business Planning and strategic Operations Management skills.
• Proficiency in Finance and Budgeting to manage operational costs, forecast needs, and support sustainable growth.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret data, optimize processes, and inform decision-making.
• Proven experience in a senior operations or COO role, preferably in architecture, design, construction, or related professional services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, build effective processes, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
• Comfort working on-site in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with the ability to adapt to local context while aligning with global best practices.
