Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead and oversee our food and beverage manufacturing operations in Tangerang, Indonesia. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in production management, food safety, quality systems, operational excellence, and people leadership. This position is open to both local and international candidates who are willing to relocate to Indonesia.
**Key Responsibilities
- Production & Operations Management**
- Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations to achieve production targets, quality standards, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and implement production plans to ensure on-time delivery and optimal resource utilization.
- Monitor daily factory performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and industry standards.
Quality & Food Safety
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and other applicable food safety standards.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and R&D teams to maintain product consistency and quality.
- Lead corrective and preventive actions related to quality issues.
People Leadership
- Manage and develop production, maintenance, warehouse, and supporting teams.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Coach and mentor department managers and supervisors.
Supply Chain & Cost Management
- Coordinate with procurement, planning, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, labor productivity, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare and manage factory budgets and operational KPIs.
Maintenance & Engineering
- Ensure effective preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and manufacturing efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and workplace safety requirements.
- Manage audits from customers, regulatory agencies, and certification bodies.
**Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Minimum 8–15 years of experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
- Minimum 5 years in a Factory Manager, Plant Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese OR Korean (spoken and written).
- Strong understanding of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and food manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in multinational food manufacturing companies.
- Experience managing factories with 300+ employees.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Experience in Southeast Asia manufacturing environments.
Language Requirements
- Mandatory: Mandarin Chinese OR Korean (business proficiency).
- English: Professional working proficiency.
- Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage but not required.
Relocation & Work Authorization
Open to Indonesian and international candidates.
Candidates outside Indonesia must be willing to relocate to Tangerang, Indonesia.
