CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST
- FULL TIME - BALI BASED
At Ananda Soul, we create meaningful jewelry and gifts designed to inspire, empower, and connect people around the world. We are looking for a warm, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to become an important part of our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who is naturally kind, proactive, organized, and genuinely enjoys creating positive customer experiences. The right person will be able to communicate with care, understand customer needs, and represent Ananda Soul with warmth, professionalism, and authenticity in every interaction.
About You
You are someone who genuinely enjoys helping people. You are kind, clear, and patient in your communication, but also organized, efficient, and able to follow through. You understand that customer service is not only about answering questions, but about creating trust, care, and connection through every interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly, professionally, and empathetically to customer inquiries via email, chat, social media, and other communication channels.
- Assist customers with order inquiries, shipping updates, returns, refunds, exchanges, customs and import questions, and general product information.
- Handle customer concerns and complaints with patience, care, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Reply to public comments and messages on Instagram and other social media platforms in alignment with the Ananda Soul brand voice.
- Monitor and respond to Google Reviews in a timely, thoughtful, and professional manner.
- Collaborate closely with the E-Commerce & Production Manager and internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, transactions, feedback, and communication threads.
- Identify recurring customer concerns and provide feedback to improve customer experience and internal processes.
- Ensure every customer interaction reflects the warmth, authenticity, and values of Ananda Soul.
- Additional administration duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, client relations, e-commerce support, or a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong ability to communicate with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- A genuine customer care mindset, with a focus on service, clarity, and thoughtful problem-solving.
- Strong conflict-resolution skills and the ability to remain calm and kind under pressure.
- Ability to quickly understand and embody the Ananda Soul brand voice, tone, and customer experience standards. Training will be provided.
- Comfortable managing multiple conversations, platforms, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Shopify.
- Experience with social media customer engagement is a plus.
- Bali-based and available for a full-time position.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with an e-commerce, lifestyle, fashion, jewelry, wellness, or purpose-led brand.
- Familiarity with Shopify, online order management, customer support systems, and social media messaging tools.
- An understanding of thoughtful, brand-aligned communication and how to create a positive customer experience across different platforms.
