Role Description

The Finishing Supervisor is a contract, on-site role based in Denpasar, responsible for overseeing all finishing works on construction projects. This role includes planning daily finishing activities, coordinating with site engineers, subcontractors, and workers, and ensuring that workmanship meets design specifications and quality standards. The Finishing Supervisor monitors progress, inspects completed work, resolves technical and coordination issues, and reports status, risks, and resource needs to project management. The role also involves enforcing safety procedures, maintaining site documentation, and supporting timely completion of finishing milestones in line with project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of finishing work methods and materials (e.g., painting, plastering, tiling, flooring, carpentry, and interior fit-out).
• Experience supervising on-site construction teams, coordinating subcontractors, and managing daily work plans.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards for finishing works.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and commitment to safe working practices.
• Previous experience as a Finishing Supervisor or similar role in building construction projects is highly desirable.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management
• Ability to work on-site in Denpasar throughout the contract period and adapt to dynamic project conditions.
