Role Description The (Intern) Forensic Accountant will support investigations into financial irregularities, fraud, and financial crime under the supervision of senior team members in Jakarta, Indonesia. This full-time, on-site role involves assisting with data collection, analyzing financial records, preparing working papers, and supporting the documentation of findings. The intern will help compile reports and presentations for internal and client use, following established methodologies and compliance standards. Responsibilities also include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, maintaining confidentiality, and contributing to process improvements and research on emerging financial crime trends.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and auditing concepts.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify anomalies.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and solid organizational skills for managing multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic data analysis tools; familiarity with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Graduated from a degree program in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in forensic accounting, financial crime, or cybersecurity; relevant coursework or projects are a plus.
• Have a previous working experience in audit, forensic would give a strong added value.
